.::About The Alley Awards::.

After talking with some friends, pixel award judging became an issue. It seemed only those sites that would nominate themselves won a lot of the awards, and even then some had noted that they didn't think they were that award worthy compared to some other sites.
Some other friends had mentioned that they would really like to know, what sites are the good sites, where should I shop, and what sites should I join.

It is my hope that The Alley Awards will list some of the great sites that the pixel community has to offer. Not saying that those who have not won are not worth mentioning, but I would like to keep these awards to those who deserve to have them, instead of those who just happened to be the only ones nominated!
With that in mind, I decided to also change the voting system, why should one or two people decide which sites to give an award to? Why not make it a community event! So I decided to create a group where the voting can take place annonomously and anyone who joins can vote, so remember if you don't vote you don't get a say!
I hope these awards will give praise to those who TRUELY deserve them!
